Social Solutions For Kids!
At Connections - Social Solutions for Kids, our focus is on developing the
social thinking, flexibility, self help, self regulation, personal space
awareness and sensory integration skills of children to expand their
ability to enter and remain engaged in a group dynamic.
We accomplish these goals through play-based activities via individual
coaching, or within a small group (3-4:1) or large group (10:2) settings.
Summer Sessions
Social Skill Building
Standard social skill pragmatics using the "Superflex" curriculum
focusing on play-based activities for 4 to 6-year-olds.
Session 1: Fridays, June 22 - July 13 - $300 - 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Session 2: Fridays, July 20 - August 10 - $300 - 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Since our program will focus on expected behaivors in a group setting, these sessions would be ideal as a substitute or a supplement to a camp your child may already be attending, as we are aware that typical summer programs can tend to be less structured and more "high energy" than may be optimal for your child.
Small Group Sessions
For children ages 3-10, we are offering small group opportunities. Your child will be matched with 1-3 peers who are pursuing growth in specific areas such as entering & sustaining group play, flexibility, appropriate behavior (silly meter), and sportsmanship.Small Group Session will be 1 1/2 or 2 hours in length at an hourly rate of $35.

One-on-One and Duet Play Coaching
Does your child have challenges in entering and/or sustaining play at the park,
school, or on a play date? Connections has the solution for you! We are
offering one-on-one or duet play coaching for only $40/hour.
We have seen amazing results with this type of focused and very intentional
facilitation when augmented with the group experience on a
weekly or bi-weekly basis.
To participate in the one-on-one/duet coaching, we require enrollment in a
current or previous group session.
One-on-One and Duet Play Coaching locations to be determined.

Specialized Focused Groups
In addition to the play-based group philosophy, we are developing
multi-week "specialized focus groups" in the areas of sports,
drama, art or cooking that would weave the social component of
the play-based program through these more specific interests.
